Introduction:

The day of our birthday holds significance and speciality for us. We celebrate this special day by means of arranging party wherein the cake is certainly present. The prospect of baking the cake ourselves fills us with pleasure and joy, adding a further layer of excitement to the birthday. 
 
The recipe of baking 4-pound cake is given below:

Ingredients:

For Cake:

  • 600g (4 1/2 cups) flour
  • 4 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 450g (2cups) unsalted butter, softened
  • 600g (3cups) sugar (powder)
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 tablespoon of  vanilla extract
  • 500ml of simple milk

For Buttercream Frosting:

  • 450g of unsalted butter
  • 600g of powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoon of vanilla extract
  • 4-6 tablespoon of heavy cream

For Decoration:

  • Colorful sprinkles
  • Birthday candles

Instructions:

FIRST. Prepare cake:

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (one hundred seventy five°C). Grease and flour  nine-inch spherical cake pans, and line the bottoms with parchment paper.
  • In a massive bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  • In every other large bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the butter and sugar together till mild and fluffy, approximately three-four minutes.
  • Add the eggs one by one, beating nicely after every addition. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  • Gradually upload the flour mixture in 3 additions, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the flour combination. Mix till just mixed, being cautious no longer to overmix.
  • Divide the batter lightly among the organized cake pans and easy the tops with a spatula.
  • Divide the butter evenly between the prepared cake pans and smooth the tops side of cake with a spatula. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean. Remove from the oven and permit the sweets cool inside the pan for 10 mins .

TWO. Make the Buttercream Frosting:

  • In a large bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the softened butter until creamy and easy.
  • Gradually add the powdered sugar, one cup at a time, beating nicely after every addition.
  • Mix in vanilla extract.
  • Add cream or heavy milk, one tablespoon at a time until frosting reaches spreadable consistency. Beat on excessive tempo for 3-four minutes until easy and fluffy.

THTEE. Prepare the cake:

  • If necessary, flatten the top of the cooled dessert with a sharp knife.
  • Put one cake on the rack. Then spread a thin layer of butter frosting on top.
  • Almost as if it were some sort of final challenge in a game show, carefully position the second layer of side cake on top. Finally, pour your last layer of frosting all over and around your cake leaving it smooth with your spatula.
  • Decorate edges of this cake with colorful spray and put local birthday candles on it.

FOUR. Serve and enjoy:
